We often get the question – do you see a trend anywhere in Presentation skills? Yes We do – and the absolute strongest and most promising trend right now is our newfound interest in storytelling. Since ancient times, we have used storytelling to convince ideas and bridge knowledge between generations. Our brain is created, no – optimized for storytelling. And most exciting of all are all new studies that formally hail on the subject where we can see on a neurological, psychological and biological level what a huge effect storytelling has when wanting to teach someone something, when we want to convince or sell something.
In this lecture, you will of course experience the effects of good storytelling, but most importantly you will also gain insight and knowledge about why and in what way storytelling is so powerful from a scientific perspective.
Then, just like in all our other lectures, you get several practical techniques, tools so that you can and know how to deliver a story that sells, convinces and creates memories of the person you are talking to. And how to structure it. One of the most important parts of any story.
You can tell any story, but without having you body signal the same message as your story, it will fall flat. In this lecture you will get some of the skills to make your story become the greatest ever told.
Why is Storytelling so powerful? And how do we use it to our advantage? Here David JP Phillips shares key neurological findings on storytelling and with the help of his own stories, induces in us the release of four neurotransmitters of his choice. Learn more in this 2nd TEDxStockholm talk of David's.

The lecture is aimed at salespeople, trainers, leaders – everyone has a tremendous benefit of storytelling, but those who have the job of convincing and creating memories are the ones who primarily benefit from the lecture. Then the lecture is entertaining in itself so even those who do not directly benefit from it will still enjoy it.
